The Great Minnesota
Homeschool Get-Together

Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 11am-2pm
North Mississippi Park

The Minnesota Homeschoolers’ Alliance Annual Picnic is the most laid back of our annual events, and it’s the easiest to participate in.

No registration for this fun summer get-together. Everyone is welcome — from those who have homeschooled for a dozen years (or more!) to those still on the fence about homeschooling.

This will be the perfect time to catch up with friends and meet new ones.

Have questions? Regardless of whether you have been homeschooling for a while or are new, MHA volunteers will be around to bounce ideas off of and answer questions.

Groups and co-ops are again welcome to come represent their organization! Feel free to bring a table to set up or just wear something to identify your group and mingle. *No vendors, please.

Come with your ideas on what you’re looking for from MHA, the state’s volunteer-run organization that is inclusive of all homeschoolers. Our members are a diverse group of families with different backgrounds and different approaches to homeschooling. MHA strives to encourage and support all Minnesota families that choose to educate their children at home. Our volunteer board members are working to develop a five-year plan for the organization, and we’d love to hear what you’d like us to include!

Bring: Plates, utensils, water, and, of course… a dish to share. (Please label your dish with ingredients. Not mandatory, but helpful for those with dietary restrictions.)

* Don’t forget the swimsuits for the zero depth wading pool! *

Come for the food, friends, and info; stay for the park fun and door prizes!!
